Great Guana Cay is a very pretty, unspoiled island with one of the smallest settlements in Abaco and with one of the most beautiful beaches, which runs almost the length of the island. It is recommended that you either rent a boat or hire a golf cart during your stay. It is also possible to hire bicycles. You can explore the island via the newly paved roads.

The Settlement has a well-stocked grocery store, liquor store, gift shops and a choice of restaurants and beach bars, popular with visitors and locals. There are tennis courts. Troy of Dive Guana will take you to the reef and National Park to dive or snorkel or you can swim and snorkel on the bay side or the ocean or watch the dolphins.

By boat you can island hop to many of the nearby islands - every one is different - or visit some of the beautiful sandy bays for a picnic. Ferries run to Marsh Harbour several times a day and are inexpensive. There are daily flights from Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach and in under an hour you can be on a Bahamian out island experiencing a little touch of paradise
